Global Planetary Health Alliance Annual Meeting – 2021

On this unique Earth Day when we are reminded more than ever of our connection and reliance on each other and our planet, the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) and University of São Paulo (USP) are excited to formally announce that the

2021 Global Planetary Health Annual Meeting
will be hosted by the
University of São Paulo, Brazil
April 19-21, 2021
intentionally chosen to honor Earth Day 2021
and Brazillian Indigenous Peoples’ Day (Dia do Índio)

Building on the momentum of the past three global convenings, this fourth Planetary Health Annual Meeting (PHAM) will dive into the strategies needed to achieve planetary health for all. We will come together as a growing community of researchers, practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, and more, to design actionable strategies to bridge communities to achieve a Great Transition where sectors rapidly transition nearly every aspect of business-as-usual: from how we produce and consume food, manufactured products, and energy; to how we construct and live in our cities; to how we manage our natural landscapes and resources; to how we even envision our place in the world, our relationship to Nature, and what it means to live a good life.

Please save the date and share this graphic! We look forward to sharing more details about the interactive program, speakers, scholarships, and social events in beautiful São Paulo in the coming months!

Until then, please stay safe and healthy and enjoy this motivating 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!
